Metals Trader

The Trader will be responsible for managing and executing metals trading activities across multiple markets, ensuring optimal pricing, risk management, and commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute metal trades in line with the company’s trading strategy
  • Monitor global metals markets and provide insights on pricing trends and market dynamics

Work in close collaboration with the market analysis team to ensure internal models Metals Trader

  • Accurately represent market trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and market counterparties
  • Coordinate with operations and middle office teams to ensure smooth trade execution and accurate PnL reporting
  • Prepare market reports, trade performance analysis, and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant trading regulations and company policies

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of trading experience in base metals
  • Preferably strong understanding of US/EU commodity markets and regulations
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency optional
